Current Make Up Obsessions

Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted a blog in like a month (sorry) but I have been extremely busy with school, my new job, and traveling for cheer. Anyways...In this blog I am sharing some of my current make up obsessions. I am usually one of those people that when I find something that works for me, I stick with it...BUT...I got tired of the make up that I have used for probably the past 2 years (my Naked palette has bit the dust) so I took a trip to ULTA (dangerous). Below are some of the products I am currently using and they can be found at a drugstore (except the last 2)!!


1. Maybelline FIT Me Matte foundation/powder

This is my current foundation and powder that I am using. I have tried so many foundations from fancy brands to cheap drugstore ones. This is by far my favorite foundation + powder yet! If you have semi-oily skin like me...it's perfect! I really love the "matte" look on my skin. Also, it stays on for pretty much the whole day. 

 2. Maybelline Nude Palette

Like most ladies, I fell for the Naked Palette so long ago but mine no longer has a mirror ha, and half the colors are missing so It was time for a new palette. I did not want to spend $50 again so I found this gem! I use #9 for a base color // #8 mixed with #10 for my crease // #1 for a highlight by my brow to create a light smokey eye.

3. L'OREL Butterfly Mascara

Ahhhh...mascara!! I went to Kroger and bought this mascara after I saw a commercial for it. I've always thought the "butterfly" lash look was so pretty. This kind is ah-maz-ing!! I've recommended it to friends and they love it to! 

4. Mac Rebel Lipstick

Now let's talk lips! I am a loyal viewer to Olivia Rink's blog and this color looked so good on her! I caved in and bought it! $15 is kinda a lot for a lipstick but I'm telling you, it's worth it for this color. The pictures do not do it justice! For all you lipstick lovers like me...add this one to your collection! I seriously think I wear this everyday now (oops).

5. Smashbox BB eye cream

If your like me, you absolutely HATE dark circles or 'bags' under your eyes! I have found your life savor! I use this over my foundation, under my eyes in a triangle shape toward my nose. It gives you that lighter effect under your eyes which I love!
